PROSE-employee Felix Saur will be speaking about “Calculation methods for determining the maximum dynamic torsional moment of wheelsets”. In this presentation, Felix Saur describes the possibilities offered by different calculation methods related to wheelset torsional vibrations to increase system understanding and thus reduce project risks and costs.

Three days full of impressions, old familiar faces, networking and interesting conversations – that was the 46th General Assembly of Swissrail Industry Association and the General Assembly of Verband öffentlicher Verkehr (VöV).

At the 46th Swissrail general meeting, Swissrail members networked the day before during a hike in the Basel countryside. In the evening, a delicious dinner was cooked together.

After the 46th General Assembly of Swissrail Industry Association, an exhibition platform and the General Assembly of Verband öffentlicher Verkehr (VöV), Federal Councillor Albert Rösti honoured the the event the following day.

PROSE thanks all for the great event and the organisation and is already looking forward to next year in Martigny!

From 17th – 19th September you will have the possibility to meet us during the 48th Conference Modern Rolling Stock / Schienenfahrzeugtagung at Messe Graz. You will find the PROSE-booth in Foyer West of Hall A.

The 28th IAVSD International Symposium on Dynamics of Vehicles on Roads and Track was held from the 21^st to the 25^th of August.  

Bernhard Kurzeck represented PROSE with his presentation “Influence of the dynamic pendulum motion of a suspended monorail on the clearance requirement” which is about the current clearance verification for Wuppertal monorail.

Thank you Swissrail for organizing the Mobility Day in Baden!

It was a great day to make new contacts and to see old familiar faces. We used the opportunity to share our knowledge, how we see the trends, and work together to advance our vision of Shaping tomorrow’s mobility.

The participants were able to benefit from the versatile supporting program, which offered a platform for an interesting exchange with its presentations and company pitches on industry-relevant topics. We also contributed to the program with PROSE-employee Dr. Bernhard Frei giving a presentation on “Best practice in research collaboration from an industry perspective”.
