Our PROSE-sneakers, first time shown during InnoTrans 2022, are the “talk of the town”. And we get it – they are inventive, just as us ingenuity.
Besides wearing fab-sneakers, we are shaping tomorrow’s mobility – interested to join or partner up?
On September 15, Christoph Gabrisch – BahnVerstand invited AVV experts from freight operators, wagon keepers and maintainers to the third “Basler Tag der Schadenregulierung”.
The main topic this year was damage reports from non-AVV parties and their consequences for railroads, wagonkeepers and other stakeholders.
PROSE was represented by Tobias Hoppe and Dr. Bernhard Frei.
The concluding panel dealt among others with the question of Dr. Bernhard Frei whether the increasingly better condition data from stationary measurement systems will not make the investment in sensor technology on the wagon less economical in the future.
The follow-up event with the main topic “Electronic Data Exchange – GCUBroker” will take place on September 14, 2023 – again in the Basel Volkshaus.
A great PROSE “Project Manager”-Day was successfully held in Bavaria with all project managers of PROSE Germany and Austria for learning and for exchange. “Bid & project management”-process as well as “Finance for Engineers” were presented and fruitfully discussed. The day ended with social activities! teambuilding
During InnoTrans 2022 the managing director of PROSE Austria Josef Kometer was renominated as a member of the advisory commitee of the association Bahnverband e.V.

Yesterday the PROSE BU Switzerland team went to Estavayer-le-lac in Fribourg for a very special activity: WaterSkiing.
Uninjured after this unique experience, we all went out for dinner together. It was a great day that we all enjoyed.

First sports event after vacation break in Sweden.
Yesterday was the bloodstream race in Västerås. 6 participants from PROSE-Sweden took part in the 10 or 5 km run.
A well deserved picnic was waiting for the contestants after the finish line.
The purpose of the blood race is to draw attention to and demonstrate the need for blood donation and to promote a healthy lifestyle.

On Tuesday August 23rd, the BU Switzerland team visited the construction site of the “Zukunft Bahnhof Bern” (www.zukunftbahnhofbern.ch).
The PROSE employees learned about the complex planning and logistics that are necessary for a construction site in the heart of a city during ongoing railway operations. At this construction site, for example, the raw materials are delivered via the track, which it is one of the busiest railway junctions in Europe at the same time.

We come across different ways of data management and structures where XML is one of them. After today’s training, the documentation team got a better understanding of the environments behind the fronts we see and learned a lot more about XML and different transformations.
